Tiga Perkara Kesukaan Allah S.W.T, Rasulullah S.A.W , Empat Khalifah arrosyidin dan Jibrail a.s

Daripada kitab 'Munabbat' yang ditulis oleh Hafiz Ibnu Hajar rahmatullah alaik.  Ia mengisahkan dalam satu majlis semasa bersama-sama dengan para sahabat, Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda,  "Allah subhanata'ala menjadikan hatiku menyukai tiga perkara di dunia ini, wangi-wangian, wanita dan solah yang menjadi penyejuk mataku"

Saidina Abu Bakar radiyallahu anhu berkata " Segala yang disabda tuan itu benar. Saya menyukai tiga perkara, melihat wajah Rasulullah s.a.w, harta-bendaku dibelanjakan untuk Rasulullah s.a.w dan anak perempuanku (Saiyadatina Aisyah) dinikahkan dengan Rasulullah s.a.w.

Kata Saidina Umar radhiayallhu anhu , "Benar wahai Abu Bakar saya juga menyukai tiga perkara, iaitu amar bil ma' ruf (menyuruh berbuat baik), nahi 'anil mungkar (mencegah kemungkaran) dan memakai pakaian yang usang.

Saidina Uthman radiayallahu anhu berkata " Segala yang kamu kata itu benar, wahai Umar saya juga menyukai tiga perkara iaitu memberi makanan kepada orang yang lapar, memberi pakaian kepada orang yang tidak berpakaian dan membaca al Quran."

Kata Saidina Ali radhiyallahu anhu " Segala yang dikatakan oleh kamu itu benar wahai Uthman, Saya juga menyukai tiga perkara iaitu melayani tetamu, berpuasa pada hari yang panas dan memancung kepala musuh"

Pada ketika itu Jibrail alaihis salam muncul lalu berkata " Saya dihantar oleh Allah subhanawata'ala supaya memberitahu kamu tiga perkara yang akan saya suka jika saya seorang manusia."  Baginda s.a.w berkata, " Beritahulah."  Jibrail alaihis salam berkata " Memimpin orang yang sesat, mengasihi orang miskin yang soleh dan membantu orang miskin yang ramai anak."

Jibrail a.s berkata lagi, " Allah s.w.t menyukai tiga perkara daripada hanbaNya iaitu menggunakan keupayaan diri dan harta pada jalan Allah s.w.t, menangis kerana kesal atas dosa semasa bertaubat dan bersabar semasa ditimpa kesempitan."

Intention When Going To The Mesjid

Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu anhu narrates :  " I heard Rasulullah may peace be upon him saying : He who comes to my Mesjid (Mesjid-un-Nabawi) with no other intention but to learn or teach a good deed is like a Mujahid in the path of Allah.  He  who comes with some other intention is like one who has come to look at the belongings of others ( and this looking is of no benefit to him)."

Note:  The excellence mentioned in this hadith is valid for all mesjids , as all mesjids are subsidiaries of Mesjid-un-Nabawi.

Signs Of The Last Hour ( The Day Of Resurrection)

Anas Radhiallahu 'anhu narrates that Rasulullah may peace be upon him (pbuh) said ; " Indeed among the signs of the Last Hour (the Day of Resurrection) is that knowledge will be lifted, ignorance (of Deen) will take root, liquor will be drunk, and adultery will prevail."

The Wisest and the Most Resolute among the People

Abdullah ibnu Umar Radhiyallahu anhuma narrates that I came to Nabi s.a.w , being the tenth one of the ten Sahabah.  A man of  the Ansar (Medina) stood up and said :  "O Nabi Allah!  Who is the wisest and the most resolute amongst the people?" He replied : "He who remembers death the most, and prepares most diligently for death before it overtakes him.  Undoubted, they are the wisest.  They have acquired the nobility of this world and the dignity of the Hereafter.

Forgiving

Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu anhu narrates that Rasulullah saw said:  Prophet Musa alaihis salam said:  O my Rabb (Lord) Who is the most respectable person to you? Allah the Al mighty and Majestic replied :  He who forgives, despite having the power to avenge.

Faith

Abbas ibne Abdul Mutalib radhiallahu anhu narrates that a man asked Rasulullah SAW : O Rasulullah! What is iman (faith) ? He replied: When your good deed pleases you and your evil deed grieves you, then you are a Mukmin ( Believer).

(Mustadrak Hakim)

Three Good Qualities

Jabir Radhiallahu anhu narrates that Rasulullah SAW said: Anyone with these three qualities shall be under the shade of Allah's Mercy (on the Day of Resurrection) and will be admitted into Paradise:
1. Courtesy towards the weak,
2. Compassion to parents and
3. Kindness to subordinates.

Concerning Generosity and Miserliness

Anas ibnu Malik radhiallahu anhu narrates that in his first sermon that Rasulullah SAW delivered, he praised Allah and then said " O people! Verily Allah has chosen Islam to be your religion, so enhance your relationship with Islam with generosity and good character.

Take note that generosity is a tree in Jannah that has its branches in this world. Therefore, whoever is generous continues attaching himself to one of its branches until it eventually transports him to Jannah.

Behold! Miserliness is a tree of Jahannam that also has its branches in this world.  Therefore, Whoever is miserly attaches himself to one of  its branches until it eventually plummets him into Jahannam.

So be generous for the Path of Allah.  Be generous for the Path of Allah.

Note:
Rasulullah SAW always repeated himself three times whenever he talked on things that were important.
